Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler is an avid critic of films that are Z-graded typically in the horror or martial arts types. Her style of review and methodology are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However, she tends towards stupid action movies with a morbid fascination. Her first review was in 2009 and gained some respect on their forums under her old username Obscurus Lupa. In the year 2010, she joined the Channel Awesome Family. The website was her home from 2009 until the year 2015 which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents turned into Movie Nights. The podcasts she hosts focus on the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. She gained a lot of attention through the Channel Awesome forum before becoming part of the family. She has appeared in countless Channel Awesome series, from Atop the Fourth Wall through Phelous & the Movies. She used to be a part in the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker, and she would be seen on numerous episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
